Why 180 inches over 120
180 is the standard length for a reason, it gives you enough wrap to cover your knuckles and wrist properly without running out. 120 works, but you're probably skimping on either wrist support or knuckle protection. I use 180-inch wraps and can get full coverage on both.
The extra length really matters if you have bigger hands or want more padding over your knuckles. That said, if 120 has been working for you and you're not getting hand injuries, don't overthink it.
