The order that actually matters

The first things I'd care about are lighting, clear audio, and a setup that's easy enough that you'll actually use it. A fancy camera is usually not the first move, it's the thing people buy first and regret.

My order: (1) better light, (2) better audio, (3) a simple tripod or phone mount, and (4) only then think about a camera upgrade. The boring answer is usually the right one, make the setup easy, then improve it once you know you'll stick with it.
