What actually separates cheap from good
With scroll saws, the main differences between cheap and expensive come down to vibration, the blade-changing system, and motor quality. the cheapest alternatives shake like crazy and are frustrating to use for any detail work.
In a real budget, the DeWalt DW788 (At its current price) is way better than the Amazon cheapies, tool-free blade changes, minimal vibration, and it'll last. It's worth saving up for if you're serious about the hobby. if budget is a hard limit, the WEN 3922 is a strong value and will still work, but expect more vibration.
