Why prep matters more than the polish
For flex-shaft polishing on copper, Dialux rouge on a felt wheel is solid, but you need to work through your grits properly first, or the rouge just shines up the scratches you left behind.
The trick: get a set of radial bristle discs for your flex shaft. They're way better than sandpaper, they conform to curves and don't leave deep scratches. Start with the coarse ones and work down to fine, then hit it with the felt wheel and Dialux. That's what makes getting a mirror finish easy.
