A strong value and rock solid. Two years in, it heats fast, the temp control is accurate, and none of the overheat-and-shut-off nonsense of the cheapest alternatives. Don't go cheaper than this.
The Duxtop 9600LS is a strong value and solid. I've used mine for about two years, it heats fast and the temperature control is genuinely accurate. It's way better than the budget Amazon burners that overheat and shut off randomly mid-cook. Don't go cheaper than this or you'll end up with one that barely works.
The pricier induction units are nice, but they're overkill if you just need a reliable backup or single burner. This hits the sweet spot.
By a lot, the cheap ones overheat and shut off randomly. This one holds temp reliably.
Not for a backup or single burner, this is the sweet spot.
