What it's actually good at
The SentrySafe is genuinely solid despite the brand's mixed reputation, UL fire-rated, fits standard binders, combination lock, At its current price-400. For protecting documents from a house fire, it does the job at a reasonable price.
Reality check: real burglar-resistant safes start At its current price. At this price you're getting fire protection, not theft protection, which is fine if you also have a security system. And remember “fireproof” ratings are for paper; put photos or digital media in a separate fireproof bag inside the safe.
