Times Table Worksheet Generator

Built by · free, no sign-up · updated July 26, 2026

Make printable multiplication and division worksheets in seconds. Pick a times table (or mixed), the operation, and how many problems, and it generates a randomized practice sheet with a Name and Date header. Tick Show answers for an instant answer key, then print, free and with no sign-up.

Every sheet is randomized, so click New worksheet for a fresh set of problems. Show answers turns the same sheet into an answer key. Print at 100% for a clean full-page worksheet.

How to use the worksheet generator

Pick a single times table to drill (say, the 7s) or leave it on Mixed to practice all the facts from 1 to 12 together. Choose multiplication, division, or a mix of both, and set how many problems you want. Every sheet is randomized, so clicking New worksheet gives a brand-new set, which means a child can practice the same skill many times without memorizing the order of the answers. When you are ready to grade, tick Show answers and the same problems become an answer key.

How to help kids learn their times tables

Short, frequent practice beats long, occasional sessions. A page of 20 to 30 problems a day, focused on one or two tables at a time, builds fluency faster than an hour once a week. Start with the easier tables (2s, 5s, and 10s), then the squares (like 6x6), then fill in the trickier middle facts (7s, 8s). Once a table is solid, mix it in with the ones already learned so the facts do not fade. Timing a sheet occasionally can build speed, but keep it low-pressure so practice stays positive.

Printing tips

Print at 100 percent for a clean full-page worksheet. Generate one sheet without answers for the child and, if you like, print the same sheet again with Show answers ticked as your grading key before you click New worksheet. A stack of randomized sheets makes a ready-to-go practice packet.

Frequently asked questions

Are the worksheets randomized?

Yes. Every sheet uses randomly generated problems, so clicking New worksheet produces a fresh set. A child can practice the same skill repeatedly without memorizing the order of the answers.

Is there an answer key?

Yes. Tick Show answers and the same worksheet turns into an answer key. Print the sheet without answers for the child, then use Show answers as your grading key before generating a new one.

Can I practice just one times table?

Yes. Choose a specific table (such as the 8s) to drill it on its own, or leave it on Mixed to practice all facts from 1 to 12 together.

Does it do division too?

Yes. Set Operation to Division for division facts, or Mixed to combine multiplication and division on the same sheet.
