Hands-on review by Johnny Alto · Published July 20, 2026
The cheap weighted blanket that outlasts the cheapest alternatives. Around 10-15 lbs is the sweet spot for most people, and mine has held up great for two years, way cheaper than a Gravity Blanket, and I honestly can't tell the difference.
For weight, 10-15 lbs is right for most adults, the rule of thumb is roughly 10% of your body weight. I went with a 15 lb YnM and it's been perfect.
It was at its current price and has held up great for about two years, which is the real test. It's way cheaper than a Gravity Blanket or the other fancy brands, and honestly I can't tell what the extra hundred-plus dollars would have gotten me. The glass-bead fill is evenly distributed so it doesn't clump.
Roughly 10% of your body weight, for most adults that's 10-15 lbs.
In my experience no, the YnM held up two years and I can't tell the difference from the budget blankets.
