Prints to scale: use your browser's Print dialog and set scale to 100% with no "fit to page," so 10 squares per inch really measures an inch. The grid equals your stitches, so 14 squares per inch matches 14-count Aida worked one over one.
How to use cross stitch graph paper
Cross stitch graph paper is a grid where each square stands for one stitch. To chart a design by hand, you set the squares per inch to match your fabric so the finished size on the grid matches the finished size on the cloth: 14 squares per inch corresponds to 14-count Aida stitched one over one, and 28-count evenweave worked two over two also comes out at 14 stitches per inch. The bold lines every ten squares let you count off blocks quickly, exactly like the printed charts in a pattern.

Print it right
