Make a free printable football squares board for your Super Bowl or game-day pool. Add the two team names, print the classic 10 by 10 grid, and let everyone claim squares with their initials. The 0 to 9 number rows are left blank so you can draw them randomly after the board is full, the way football squares is meant to be played.
Print at 100 percent (landscape fits best). Everyone claims squares with their initials, then you draw the 0 to 9 numbers for each team and write them in the blank header row and column.
How football squares works
Football squares is the easy, no-skill-needed game-day pool. You print a 10 by 10 grid, one team's name runs across the top and the other down the side, and each of the 100 squares is claimed by a player writing their initials in it. Once every square is taken, you randomly draw the digits 0 through 9 for each team and write them along the top row and the left column, so nobody knows which numbers they have until the board is full. That random draw is what keeps it fair.
At the end of each quarter, you take the last digit of each team's score, find where those two numbers meet on the grid, and whoever's initials are in that square wins that quarter. Most pools pay out at the end of each quarter, with the final score usually worth the biggest share. It works for the Super Bowl, any football game, and with tweaks for other sports too.
Running your pool
Set a price per square, print the board, and let people claim squares until all 100 are full. Draw the numbers only after the grid is complete, write them in the blank header row and column, and agree on the payout split for each quarter up front. Print at 100 percent scale, and landscape orientation gives the roomiest squares.
