Hand and Foot Score Sheet

Built by · free, no sign-up · updated July 26, 2026

Print a Hand and Foot score sheet with the scoring built in. Set how many teams and it makes a four-round card with a total row, and prints the card point values and the clean and dirty book bonuses so nobody has to remember them.

Print at 100%. Score each round: melded card values plus book bonuses and the going-out bonus, minus the cards left in hand. The card values are printed under the table.

How Hand and Foot scoring works

Hand and Foot is a Canasta-style partnership game usually played over four rounds. Each round your team scores the value of every card you have melded, plus bonuses, and then subtracts the value of any cards still in your hand. The card values are fixed: a Joker is 50, twos and aces are 20, eight through king are 10, and four through seven (plus black threes) are 5.

The big points come from books, which are completed melds of seven cards: a clean book with no wild cards is 500, a dirty book with wilds is 300. Red threes are worth 100 each if you meld them but cost you 100 each if you are caught with them in hand. The team that goes out gets a 100-point bonus. This sheet tracks all four rounds and prints those values so a new group can score without a rulebook.

Using the sheet

Set your number of teams and print at 100 percent. Enter each team's round score, then total the four rounds. The full value chart is printed under the table for reference.

Frequently asked questions

What are the book bonuses in Hand and Foot?

A clean book (a seven-card meld with no wild cards) is 500 points, and a dirty book (with wild cards) is 300 points. Both are shown on the printed sheet.

How much is a red three worth?

A red three is worth 100 points if you meld it, but a 100-point penalty if it is caught in your hand at the end of the round.

How many rounds is Hand and Foot?

It is typically four rounds, which is what this sheet is set up for, with a total row at the bottom.

How do I print it?

Print at 100 percent scale. The card values and bonuses print under the table so scoring is easy for everyone.
