Pinochle Score Sheet

Print a Pinochle score sheet with separate meld and trick columns. Set your number of teams and it builds a card with a row per hand and a running total, and prints a meld scoring reference so you do not have to look up the combinations.

Print at 100%. Each hand, record meld points and then trick points for each team. The last trick is worth an extra 10. A meld reference is printed under the table.

How Pinochle scoring works

A Pinochle hand scores in two parts: meld and tricks. After the bidding, players lay down melds, which are set combinations of cards worth fixed points. The big one is a run in the trump suit (ace, ten, king, queen, jack) at 150, while a pinochle (jack of diamonds and queen of spades) is 40 and doubles all the way to 300 for a double pinochle. Marriages, and aces or kings or queens or jacks in every suit, all have their own values.

Then the hand is played out for tricks, where the counting cards each carry a value and the very last trick is worth an extra 10 points. Your score for the hand is your meld plus your trick points, and this sheet keeps those in separate columns so it is easy to check a bid was made. A meld reference is printed underneath.

Using the sheet

Set your number of teams and print at 100 percent. Record meld then tricks for each team every hand, and total down the column. The meld values are printed under the table so newer players can score without the rulebook.

Frequently asked questions

What is the highest meld in Pinochle?

A run in the trump suit (ace, ten, king, queen, jack) is worth 150 points, the highest common single meld. A double pinochle is 300. The full list is printed on the sheet.

Why separate meld and trick columns?

Because a hand's score is meld plus tricks, keeping them apart makes it easy to confirm whether a bidding team made its bid, which is based on the combined total.

How much is the last trick worth?

The last trick of the hand is worth an extra 10 points on top of the counting cards it contains.

How do I print it?

Print at 100 percent scale. The meld reference prints under the table for up to four teams.
